Pelios har mötts musikaliskt halvvägs mellan Finland och Sverige för att spela låtar från förr och nuförtiden. Låtar från hela Nordklotet, om sjön, gamla oförätter, kärlek och mycket annat. Debutalbumet “Gourmet!” släpps våren 2012.
Trion träffades under våren 2006, då Suvi var utbytesstudent på Kungliga Musikhögksolan i Stockholm, där också Anna och Josefin studerade till musiker. Sin första spelning hade gruppen samma vår på världsmusikscenen Stallet i Stockholm. Konserten spelades in och sändes av Sveriges Radio P2.

Pelios meet musically halfway between Sweden and Finland to play both old and new songs – songs from the North, about life at sea, old disputes, love and lots more.
Their debut album, entitled ’Gourmet!’, was released in April 2012. Pelios has been working on the album for years with the same love and dedication as one puts into cooking a gourmet dinner; with time and patience their music has brewed into a concoction of just the right ingredients and spices with exactly the right balance of surprise and tradition in it.
The trio met at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2006 where Anna and Josefin were studying for their bachelors degrees and Suvi was doing exchange studies from Sibelius Academy. Their first gig was on the prestigious world music scene Stallet in Stockholm and was recorded and broadcast by the Swedish Radio P2.
